The KPC-NBOCWWB (Kohima Press Club-Nagaland Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board) Media Fellowship is a first-of-its-kind initiative instituted by the NBOCWWB under the chairmanship of Dr. Kekhrie Yhome in the year 2022.

The Partnership of the Media Fellowship aims to encourage collaboration between tangent establishments and support each other’s obligation to public services; to promote public interest and highlight the sectoral focus on workers associated with building and other constitution activities, and to publicize NBOCWWB’s activities and mandate, particularly on social justice schemes and welfare benefits.

Under the KPC-NBOCWWB Media Fellowship, several grants are given to journalists working in Nagaland to write a specific number of in-depth stories highlighting the experiences & challenges faced by the construction industry in the state.
